Sending an announcement
One checkbox on a post sends it to the whole team, not just to whoever visits the site.
Write the post as usual, check "Send as a team announcement," then publish. Everyone on the roster gets it by push, text, or email, whichever they already picked for themselves on their own notifications page. It doesn't go out the instant you publish. It goes out the next time the site updates, which can take a little while, and there's nowhere to watch it waiting. The announcements list in the sidebar only shows what has already gone out.
Once it's out, it's out. There's no way to pull it back. And if you rename a post after it's already been sent, the rename sends it again under the new title, so don't rename an announcement you don't want a second time.
Anyone who has texted STOP to the team's number stops getting texts entirely; the roster shows them as "Texted STOP: not reachable by text anymore." An adult with an email on file still gets announcements there instead. Someone with no other channel on file just doesn't get that one.
