Logging a session
What to tap for an ordinary session, then the two things that are not obvious.
- Tap Log in the top bar, then Log a session.
- The date is already today. Change it if you are catching up on yesterday.
- Tap what you did. Whatever you logged last time is already picked.
- Type the minutes.
- Tap a level, then Save session.
Level is by feel, and the screen says so: "Pick by feel, not by heart rate." The five run from L1, easy enough for a full conversation, through L3 where you are down to short sentences, to L5 at max. Strength and Spenst do not ask for a level at all. Skiing and Roller skiing add a technique.
Most real sessions are not one number. "Add a level" gives you another row, which is how you log an hour at L1 and then thirty minutes at L2. "Intervals" turns a row into reps, so six times four minutes at L3 is one row, not six.
Behind "Add a note" there is a note, "How hard was it? (0-10)", and distance for the sessions where distance means something. All three are optional. Skip them on an ordinary Tuesday and use them on the day worth remembering.
Nothing locks. The Log screen lists this week's sessions, and tapping one opens it again to change or delete.
